7 ways employers can support working parents during COVID-19 outbreak

For many children, the COVID-19 outbreak this means having to cope with disrupted education, family illness and loss of household income – things that disproportionately affect girls and boys from the poorest families. This note, developed by UNICEF, suggests seven ways in which employers can support working parents in caring for their children. It suggests workplace family-friendly policies – like paid parental leave, paid sick leave, flexible work arrangements and access to affordable and quality childcare.
