Case study on Swathi Nyaya Sanjeevani, an initiative to address gender based violence faced by the vulnerable communities of women in sex work

A 24 X7 redressal mechanism to respond to issues related to violence, harassment experienced and witnessed by women in sex work. The system operates at the will and pace of the women and any case is followed up till it gets resolved in its entirety. Preventive work on violence is carried out through sensitization of the perpetrators of violence such as police, local criminals etc. on issues related to sex workers.
