Ensuring Adequate Nutrition During Covid-19

There are two primary national programs to address child nutrition, the Integrated Child Development Scheme and the Mid-day Meal Scheme. The continuation of these services is especially essential during a pandemic to avoid long-term consequences of child malnutrition. This brief identifies the barriers to service provision of essential nutrition services such as the mid-day program and highlights the global best practices to overcome those barriers.
This is an essential read for grass-root organisations and anganwadi and primary school frontline workers.
