Vrutti’s response to COVID-19

Vrutti is working with farmers, fisherfolk, and marginalised communities in selected locations across seven states.join hands with Vrutti in their  endeavour to support the communities who feed us with farm produce, fish and services that make our lives run.
The spread of COVID-19 sparked a series of lockdowns across the globe. With the implementation of lockdowns came notable increases in the number of calls to domestic violence hot lines and support servies. Rising rates of gender-based violence have emerged as a troubling trend during this time. Gender-based violence is strongly linked with mental health challenges, so it is critical to understand this intersection and how it may be addressed. This resource by SNEHA provides guidance on the integration of mental health services into interventions that address violence against women. Authored by Dr Nayreen Daruwalla et al.
