How To Use A Pulse Oximeter

July 6, 2021

A pulse oximeter is a medical device that indirectly monitors the oxygen saturation of a patient’s blood. Most monitors also display the pulse rate. Portable, battery-operated pulse oximeters are also available for transport or home blood-oxygen monitoring. It can be useful for a COVID patient as it indicates when a person needs to consult a doctor or visit a hospital. It is advised to check your oxygen levels at least 3 – 4 times a day.
